广东阳江：逾千人参加2008年职称外语考试
6日上午9时，全国职称英语考试开考，阳江市1126名考生在阳江职业技术学院参加考试。因考试政策的调整，今年阳江市的报考人数有所下降。
据《阳江日报》报道，市人事局有关负责人介绍，今年阳江市共有1252人报名全国职称英语考试，到考人数为1126人。其中，报考理工类的人数最多，其次为卫生类，最少是综合类。总体的报考人数，今年比去年少了400多人。这是因为07年广东省结合国家人事部出台的《关于完善职称外语考试有关问题的通知》精神，对考试政策做了调整，规定只要符合了一定条件的专业技术人员，可不参加职称外语考试或者考试成绩有效期及合格标准放宽。这样，部分技术人员就不用参加考试了。
今年的监考措施比往年严格了。该负责人说，考试之前，相关部门就下发了一个紧急通知，要求严肃考风考纪。今年在市职院共设42个考场，每个考场均配备了一台信号屏蔽仪，防止考生利用手机作弊。
